Objects of India
This blog is about important objects, symbols, and official things of India that usually come for easy marks but people still forget them (don’t ask me how).
I will again use simple words and you can apply the Byma Pattern wherever you feel numbers or lists are involved.
National Flag of India
Our National Flag is called the Tricolour because it has three colours.
• Saffron (top) – Courage and sacrifice
• White (middle) – Peace and truth
• Green (bottom) – Growth and prosperity
In the center, there is the Ashoka Chakra.
It has 24 spokes.
Yes, 24. Don’t argue with it—just remember it.
Tip: Ashoka Chakra = movement, not laziness
National Emblem of India
The National Emblem is taken from the Lion Capital of Ashoka.
It has four lions, but only three are visible in pictures.
Below it is written: “Satyameva Jayate”
Meaning: Truth alone triumphs.
Short, powerful, exam-friendly.
National Anthem and National Song
• National Anthem – Jana Gana Mana
Written by Rabindranath Tagore
• National Song – Vande Mataram
Written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee
Do NOT mix these two.
Many people do.
You shouldn’t.
National Calendar
India follows the Saka Calendar along with the Gregorian calendar.
It is officially used for government purposes.
No, your birthday will not change.
Currency of India
The currency of India is Indian Rupee (₹).
Symbol: ₹
Issued by: Reserve Bank of India (RBI)
Coins are issued by the Government of India.
Notes are issued by RBI.
This difference is small but important.
National Days of India
• 26 January – Republic Day
• 15 August – Independence Day
• 2 October – Gandhi Jayanti
Apply the Byma Pattern here. Dates love to disappear from memory.
Languages of India
India does not have one national language.
• Hindi and English are official languages of the Union.
• There are 22 scheduled languages in the Constitution.
Unity in diversity—again, yes.
Final Words
This blog focuses only on objects and official symbols of India.
Nothing extra. Nothing mixed.

Learning is more important than pretending to be perfect.
Next blog will be on a different focused topic, not this one.
Just bye.
Still alive.
